iTNBluegrass is a mission-driven nonprofit providing door-through-door transportation for older adults and individuals who are visually impaired in Fayette County. For 17 years, we’ve helped our neighbors remain independent, connected, and engaged in their community. Last year alone, we provided 8,015 rides—and for many of our riders, we are an essential part of their care network.

We are seeking a part-time Executive Director (approximately 20 hours/week) to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and sustainability.

 Position Overview

The Executive Director serves as the strategic and operational leader of iTNBluegrass, working closely with staff, volunteers, and the Board of Directors to ensure strong service delivery, financial health, and community impact. This role requires a balance of hands-on management, fundraising leadership, and community engagement.

     Volunteer Driver Development

Requirements

     Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit, business, or social services

     Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development strategy

     Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

     Ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time leadership role

Passion for serving older adults and individuals with low vision.
