Company Overview
Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky is a statewide non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of Kentucky's children. We work towards accomplishing our mission through programs, public awareness and advocacy. Our agency is governed by a volunteer policy-making Board of Directors.
Company History
The Kentucky Council on Child Abuse was formed in 1987 as a result of a merger between Parents Anonymous of Kentucky, Inc. and the Kentucky Chapter for Prevention of Child Abuse. While our legal name remains Kentucky Council on Child Abuse, Inc. we do business as Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky--a change that was implemented in 1999 that more clearly demonstrates our mission and goals.
