The Fundraising Manager supports the mission of St. Vincent de Paul Louisville by securing resources to house, feed, and support those in need with compassion and dignity. This role focuses on cultivating donor relationships, leading fundraising appeals and campaigns, securing event sponsorships, and overseeing the donor database. This position will work closely with the entire Development Team to achieve annual fundraising goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
Support the development and execution of annual fundraising goals.
Cultivate and grow relationships with mid-level individual donors, corporate partners, and family foundations.
Create personalized fundraising proposals and solicitation letters
Appeals & Campaigns
Lead the strategy and execution of annual fundraising appeals, direct mail, and special campaigns, including the monthly donor program.
Partner with Communication and Marketing Coordinator to produce compelling donor-facing materials.
Events & Sponsorships
Partner with the Special Events Manager to secure event sponsorships.
Contribute to the planning and donor cultivation strategies for fundraising events.
Collaborate with partners to identify potential opportunities to create and host cause marketing campaigns to benefit SVDP’s mission.
Data & Reporting
Create fundraising reports to track fundraising progress, ROI, and campaign performance.
Ensure compliance with ethical fundraising standards and donor confidentiality.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in fundraising.
Demonstrated experience with donor relationship management and solicitation.
Proficiency in donor database systems and reporting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance.
