The ideal Member Services Coordinator enjoys managing multiple tasks simultaneously. He or she is a good communicator, both written and oral, and is a skilled listener. This individual can work alone and is comfortable seeking tasks without prompt. This person understands how to remain calm and courteous under pressure, excelling at this undertaking. The ideal candidate is highly capable of following oral and written communication accurately. Structure and organization come naturally for this person. This person should be positive, poised and passionate.
Position Summary:
Assists in all administrative, operational, and educational activities and programs in support of the CWP-KT Vision Statement, Mission, Strategic Plan, and Annual Business Plan.
Responsibilities:
Performs various office administrative tasks such as clerical services, phone calls, emails, and meeting minutes.
Communication Services:
o Develops and maintains effective communications with the members, Executive Board, Committee Chairs, and the Executive Director.
o Attends Board meetings, and other meetings, as requested by the Executive Director or Board. Records meeting minutes. Coordinates meeting needs.
o Updates and maintains the Association website and social media platforms; and assists in the publication of magazine.
Member Services:
o Maintains and serves as the main administrator for the association management software. Assists individuals with membership information. Manages membership database including updates to contact information, membership records, and database groups.
o Processes membership-related phone calls and emails and provides prompt member service in these areas. Assists in the recruitment and retention of members.
Educational Resources Coordination Services:
o Works with Committee Chairs to market educational events and resources.
o Serves as facilitator for webinars utilizing online software.
o Assists Committee Chairs with all needs for educational events.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and the ability to quickly learn new software (including online) programs.
Prior experience in an administrative support role.
Preferred
Associates degree, or higher-level degree.
